Start with a diagnostic

Before building a schedule, take one full-length practice exam to find your weak domains. Study time is most valuable when it is aimed at what you do not yet know.

Weeks 1-2: Foundation

Rebuild the fundamentals — anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology — for the domains your diagnostic flagged. Aim for 2-3 focused hours daily.

Weeks 3-4: Core content

Work the high-yield areas: pharmacology, cardiology and ACLS, trauma, and medical emergencies. Practice retrieval, not re-reading.

Weeks 5-6: Application

Move to scenario-based questions and integrate topics. Take a weekly timed block to build endurance.

Week 7: Full-length practice

Take full timed exams, then review every item — especially the ones you got right by guessing.

Week 8: Taper and rest

Light review of mnemonics and weak spots. Sleep and logistics matter as much as content the final week.
